What they'll be doing

i.e. what does their day to day look like, team size and management, who is their direct report and a little taste of targets and KPIs they will be focused on.

Creation and deployment of out bound email campaigns using Account Engagement in Salesforce, LinkedIn and YouTube.
Shows and events management – signing up, logistics, collateral, attendance in select shows, booth setup, lead/contacts collection and entry in Sales Force.
Management of website and eCommerce portal – new products, pricing and collateral updates. Regular upkeep and improvements in navigation, SEO and look and feel.
Creation of product collateral by working with product managers and R&D.
Creation of email and social media post banners.
Drive development of marketing and sales collateral such as product notes, product inserts, application notes and validation protocols.
Coordinate with creative design creation (e.g. booth graphics, brochures, videos etc. through 3rd party contractors).
Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communications plans that align with the company's overall marketing strategy and business objectives.
Create and manage a wide range of marketing content including email campaigns, social media posts, website copy, and advertising materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product marketing, sales, and creative to ensure that all marketing communications are consistent with the company's brand voice and messaging.
Utilize data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing communications initiatives, make data-driven decisions, and continuously improve campaigns and tactics.
Manage relationships with external partners such as agencies and vendors to ensure successful execution of marketing programs and initiatives.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing communications and use this knowledge to continuously improve marketing programs and campaigns.
Manage show and conference logistics.
Manage leads generated by digital and in-person marketing campaigns.
Manage development of marketing swag through 3rd parties.
Assisting in marketing plan preparation, including budget and short and long-term strategy.

Hard skills

Hard skills are job or industry specific skills that can be easily measured through training and education. i.e. programming languages, CAD software proficiency, fluent German speaker.

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Experience in the life science tool industry (i.e. immunoassay, antibody engineering, SPR or BLI) is highly desirable.
3-5 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in a B2B environment.
Fluency in the use of marketing tools such as PARDOT, CRMs like SFDC, and design tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator. SEO keyword planning and marketing.
Experience developing and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels including email, social media, website, and advertising.

Soft skills

Soft skills are non-technical, interpersonal skills. i.e. leadership, teamwork,problem solving, communication.

Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Attention to detail for drafting, editing and proofreading documents.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to adapt to different writing styles and tones.
